Booked Eau Claire Policies

All ticket and merch purchases are non-refundable. By purchasing a ticket, applying as an author, vendor, or sponsor, or otherwise taking part in Booked Eau Claire (“BEC”), you acknowledge and agree to the following policies.
 
Code of Conduct
Attendance and participation at Booked Eau Claire is conditional upon agreement to our Code of Conduct. Ticket holders agree to abide by the Code of Conduct upon purchase. Authors, vendors, sponsors, and volunteers agree to the Code of Conduct upon acceptance and participation.

Booked Eau Claire actively fosters a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all attendees, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, disability, body type, or background. The organizers will not tolerate harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior, and they may remove offenders from the event without a refund. Our staff reserves the right to deny or revoke the attendance of any individual, at any time, for any reason.

Generative AI
Booked Eau Claire is a human-created, artist-forward event and does not support the use of AI. BEC does not support authors or vendors that use AI in their art, books, works, etc. Authors & Vendors caught using AI in their works will be removed from the event without reimbursement.

By participating, you agree that:
• Products sold are licensed, or you have commercial rights to sell them.
• Products sold or promoted at BEC must not include generative AI–created content, including but not limited to: AI-generated books, stories, or written content; AI-generated artwork, covers, illustrations, or designs; or AI-generated merchandise designs

Privacy Policy & Email Communications
Booked Eau Claire respects your privacy. We won’t share or use any personal information that you provide through our ticket sales, email sign-ups, newsletter subscriptions, giveaways, etc., for any purpose outside of our events/business.

We do not sell, trade, or share email lists with third parties.
You may opt out of email communications using the unsubscribe link provided in email communications.
 
Refunds & Cancellations
All sales are final unless otherwise stated below. Tickets are non-refundable. Unless Booked Eau Claire cancels the event, refunds will not be processed. If an unforeseen circumstance (pandemic, war, etc.) causes the event to be cancelled, we will not process refunds.

If the event is canceled by the event venue or due to circumstances outside our control, Booked Eau Claire would:
• Attempt to reschedule the event.
• All tickets, tables, and sponsorships will be honored for the new date.
• No refunds will be given.

If a ticket holder, author, vendor, or sponsor cancels their participation:
• No refunds will be issued, for any reason, including scheduling conflicts or inability to attend.

Ticket Transfers

Ticket resales and transfers must be done via Booked Eau Claire. Our team will ensure that all ticket resales and transfers are legitimate. Please contact us if you need to resell or transfer a ticket to begin the process: admin@bookedeauclaire.com. 

Photos + Videos

BEC will have photos and videos being taken at the event. By purchasing a ticket/attending the event, you agree we are allowed to use any photos or videos from the event(s) to promote, advertise, use on our website/social media.

Policy Enforcement
Booked Eau Claire, LLC reserves the right to:
• Enforce all policies at its discretion
• Remove individuals or revoke participation for violations
• Update or amend policies as necessary to ensure the safety and integrity of the event

Anyone who accepts a Booked Eau Claire ticket agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Booked Eau Claire, LLC from any claim for personal injuries or other damages or equity arising out of any individual’s activities at the event, even if such injury or damage is caused by negligence by or on the part of Booked Eau Claire, LLC.
