Are You Okay? How to Write Traumatized Characters Accurately

It's a tale as old as time: I was locked in a tower for eighteen years while my mother used my hair to keep herself young. Or, my parents died in a car accident. Licensed Professional Counselor and author Chris Cole takes a look into what trauma does to our brains and bodies, how we as authors can incorporate it realistically into our writing, and other challenges that can come with writing about trauma - including how it can affect you as an author.
