Meet the Speaker

We are excited to share that bestselling author, Abby Jimenez, will attend Booked Eau Claire on September 13, 2025! 

Abby is the author of six popular romance novels, several of which have landed her on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists. In 2022, she won the Minnesota Book Award for her novel, Life’s Too Short. Her book, The Friend Zone, made Oprah Magazine’s list of “most addicting romance novels,” and her book, The Happy Ever After Playlist, is being developed into a movie. Her most recent books, Yours Truly and Just for the Summer, became instant New York Times bestsellers, and Yours Truly won Book of the Month Club’s Book of the Year in 2023.

Before becoming a writer, Jimenez founded Nadia Cakes, an award-winning cupcake shop and custom cake studio, out of her home kitchen. She went on to win Food Network’s Cupcake Wars and was featured on two seasons of TLC’s hit show Fabulous Cakes.

Abby will present “How I Became a Bestselling Romance Novelist” followed by a Q&A. She will then be available to sign copies of her books.
