Hi! My name is April and I'm a boy momma from the mitten state. Currently living out my own epilogue HEA with my husband and our two boys! If I'm not chasing my boys around, you can find me curled up in my home library with a book and an iced coffee. I occasionally read thrillers but I am a HUGE romance lover. Some of my favorite tropes are Small Town, Single parent, Romantic suspense, grumpy/sunshine and surprise pregnancy. But honestly... Why choose? I truly love it all! I am a huge indie supporter. They probably make up 95% of my tbr. You may have seen my indie spotlights floating around, I do everything I can to help out our indie.

A cosplayer and advocate for body positivity, she’s one of the co-founders of the 'Read Between the Wines' book club, creating a space for over 100 members to enjoy books without judgement. Through her brand, Dirty Little Book Rats, she and her community, celebrate the joy of smut in a welcoming and open space.

Erika is the Smut & Spice Maven behind The Smut Files. After finding romance books during a dark time in her life, she wanted to create a place to share her new found book boyfriends and the best dirty talkers. You can find her listening to an audiobook while working, driving, or performing any household chore.

While reading is my main hobby, I also enjoy cooking (I can't bake to save my life), watching sports with my hubby and playing outside with my kids. I got back into reading a little over two years ago and I started my Bookstagram a little over one year ago. I mainly read romance and my favorite tropes are: age gap, single parent and friends to lovers.
